Theme Marketplace Terms

A "theme" on LinkStacked is a curated visual configuration package — including colour tokens, typography settings, background assets, layout variants, and optional custom CSS — that can be applied to a creator's public profile. Themes are delivered as structured data files (JSON and/or asset archives).

Themes are published on the LinkStacked marketplace either by the LinkStacked team ("Official Themes") or by qualified creator-publishers ("Community Themes").

When you purchase a theme from the marketplace, you receive a:

• Non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal licence to apply the theme to your own LinkStacked profile(s)
• Right to use the theme for as long as your LinkStacked account is active
• Right to minor personal customisations (colours, font overrides) via the theme editor

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicence, or transfer the theme to another person or entity
• Share your purchased theme package with other LinkStacked accounts (each account must purchase separately)
• Claim authorship of a purchased theme or market it as your own original work
• Use theme assets (custom illustrations, photography, brand elements) outside of your LinkStacked profile without the publisher's explicit permission
• Reverse-engineer a theme to recreate and republish it on the marketplace

To publish a Community Theme on the LinkStacked marketplace, you must:

• Be an active LinkStacked creator with a connected Stripe account
• Submit your theme through the marketplace submission form for quality review
• Confirm that all assets (fonts, icons, photography) are licensed for commercial use and distribution
• Provide accurate screenshots or demos that genuinely represent the theme's appearance
• Maintain compatibility with the current LinkStacked theme specification (documented in the developer docs)
• Update your theme within 30 days if a LinkStacked platform update breaks compatibility

• All code in the theme package must be clean and human-readable (no obfuscated or minified files without source)
• No tracking scripts, external resource loads, or phone-home calls embedded in the theme
• Compatible with the latest version of the LinkStacked theme engine (version noted in submission)
• Screenshot assets must represent the actual theme — AI-upscaled or fake preview images are prohibited
• Typography must use fonts that are either Google Fonts, system fonts, or commercially licenced fonts for redistribution
