Most link types send visitors somewhere else. Doc Links keep them where they are.
A Doc Link lets you attach up to 8 images or PDF files to a single link entry on your profile. When a visitor taps it, a full-screen reader opens directly on your profile page — no new tab, no navigation away, no third-party viewer URL. They read, swipe through pages, and close the modal when they are done. They are still on your profile.
Available on every plan. No upgrade required.
What it is
A Doc Link has a title and an attached file collection (up to 8 files, any combination of images and PDFs). In the dashboard you upload files, drag them into the order you want, and add an optional title per file.
On the public profile, a Doc Link looks like a regular link with a small document icon. Tapping it opens a full-screen modal with a document reader. PDF files render page by page with zoom and scroll. Images display at full resolution with swipe navigation between files.
When to use a Doc Link
- Professionals: attach your CV or resume — recruiters and collaborators read it without leaving your profile. No Scribd, no Issuu, no Google Docs share link.
- Photographers and designers: attach a portfolio PDF or a grid of portfolio images. Visitors see full-resolution work in context.
- Journalists and writers: attach published pieces, tearsheets, or a clips document. Editors can review your work directly.
- Musicians: attach your EPK (electronic press kit) as a PDF. Venues and promoters get everything they need — bio, photos, rider, streaming stats — in one tap.
- Academics and researchers: attach a paper, preprint, or publication list. Readers do not need institutional access to read what you share.
- Coaches and consultants: attach your services guide, methodology document, or case study PDF. Prospects read your offer before booking a call.
How to add a Doc Link
- 1Open your dashboard and go to Links.
- 2Click Add link and choose Doc Link from the link type picker.
- 3Give the Doc Link a title — this is what visitors tap (e.g. "My press kit", "Read my CV", "Portfolio 2026").
- 4Click Upload files and select your PDFs and/or images (up to 8 files total). Files can be up to 50 MB each.
- 5Drag files into the order you want them to appear in the reader.
- 6Click Save.
The Doc Link appears on your profile immediately. Test it by tapping it on your public profile — the reader modal will open.
File types and limits

- Mixed (PDFs + images) — up to 8 files total
- File size per file — 50 MB maximum

Tips
- For press kits and CVs, PDF is almost always better than individual images. PDFs retain layout, typography, and pagination.
- For portfolios, consider a mix: a short PDF overview as the first file, followed by individual high-resolution images of your best work.
- Keep titles descriptive: "Press kit — July 2026" is better than "My files". Visitors need to know what they are opening before they tap.
- Doc Links are tracked in your analytics. You can see how many visitors opened a Doc Link and how long they spent in the reader.
