Setting up Google Analytics alongside LinkStacked

You can add a Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tracking ID to your LinkStacked page to combine your link page data with the rest of your web analytics in one place.

Step 1 — Create a GA4 property (if you don't have one)

  1. 1Go to analytics.google.com.
  2. 2Create a new property and select "Web" as the platform.
  3. 3Enter your LinkStacked URL as the website URL.
  4. 4Copy your Measurement ID — it starts with "G-" (e.g. G-ABC123XYZ).

Step 2 — Add the Measurement ID to LinkStacked

  1. 1Go to Dashboard → Settings → Integrations.
  2. 2Find "Google Analytics 4" and click "Connect".
  3. 3Paste your Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX).
  4. 4Click "Save".

What data is sent to GA4

  • Page views (page_view event).
  • Link clicks (click event with link title and URL).
  • Session source and medium from UTM parameters.

GA4 data takes 24–48 hours to appear in your Google Analytics reports. Real-time GA4 reports update within 1–2 minutes.
