Adding a Meta (Facebook) Pixel

The Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) lets you retarget visitors to your LinkStacked page with ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Step 1 — Get your Pixel ID

  1. 1Go to Meta Business Suite → Events Manager.
  2. 2Click "Connect data sources" → "Web" → "Meta Pixel".
  3. 3Name your pixel and click "Create pixel".
  4. 4Copy the Pixel ID — it's a 15-16 digit number.

Step 2 — Add the pixel to LinkStacked

  1. 1Go to Dashboard → Pixels.
  2. 2Click "Add pixel".
  3. 3Select "Meta" from the platform dropdown.
  4. 4Paste your Pixel ID.
  5. 5Click "Save".

Step 3 — Verify the pixel is firing

Install the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome extension. Visit your public profile page. The extension icon should turn green and show a PageView event. This confirms your pixel is working.

Your pixel starts building an audience immediately. Run ads using "Website visitors" as your Custom Audience target once you have at least 100 pixel events.
