Adding a Google Tag / Google Ads tag

Adding a Google Tag to your LinkStacked page enables Google remarketing for YouTube, Search, and Display ads, as well as GA4 tracking.

Step 1 — Get your tag ID

  • For Google Analytics 4: the ID starts with G- (e.g. G-ABC123XYZ). Find it in Google Analytics → Admin → Data Streams.
  • For Google Ads remarketing: the ID starts with AW- (e.g. AW-123456789). Find it in Google Ads → Tools → Google Tag.

Step 2 — Add the tag to LinkStacked

  1. 1Go to Dashboard → Pixels.
  2. 2Click "Add pixel" → "Google Tag".
  3. 3Paste your G- or AW- tag ID.
  4. 4Click "Save".

Verifying the tag

Use Google Tag Assistant (available in Chrome) to verify the tag fires correctly on your profile page. You should see a green tick next to your tag ID.

You can add both a G- ID and an AW- ID simultaneously. Each fires independently.
